About him

Braydon Alfaro began his martial arts journey at a young age. His parents enrolled him in the Montgomery Karate Tiger Tots Program, where he took his first steps in learning karate. Under the guise of Sa Bom Nim Guinn, he has completed three Dan rank tests: first for Cho Dan (1st Degree Midnight Blue Belt) in 2016, then for Ee Dan (2nd Degree Midnight Blue Belt) in 2018, and finally for Sam Dan (3rd Degree Midnight Blue Belt) in 2021.

In early 2020 Braydon completed the necessary requirements and was promoted to Jo Kyo (Assistant Instructor). Shortly after, Sa Bom Nim Guinn asked him if he would like to teach the Tiger Tots program, as well as full-size classes, going forward. To this day, he has found fulfillment in giving back to the studio and colleagues who supported him in his journey.

Over the years, he has taught numerous Soo Bahk Do summer camps. Additionally, he has competed in multiple national events, representing Region 6 in team sparring, hyung, and demonstration competitions. As he continues his training, he looks forward to the future with excitement and curiosity about where it will take him.
